2nd Multisport Industry Confidence Index Being Conducted by TBI
Author: Jan Fambro
Initial Findings to be Presented at the TBI Conference Jan 24-26
Anaheim, CA – January 13, 2016 – Triathlon Business International (TBI), an industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and the business of triathlon, today announced that it will conduct its second Industry Confidence Survey that will serve as a barometer to multisport industry sentiment on key issues ranging from perspectives on retail prices to the general outlook for growth of triathlon in the U.S.. The survey will be conducted starting January 13 and concludes at the end of January following the 6th Annual TBI Conference January 24-26 in Marina del Rey, CA. Summary findings from the survey will be shared during the conference. To participate in the survey, click on this link. Everyone who completes the survey will receive the full findings report. The survey will also be available for purchase for a nominal fee. The full Industry Confidence Index will be completed by February 12, 2016.
The survey is commissioned by TBI and being conducted by MultiSport Research. It will build on the initial survey implemented in Q1 of 2015. The 2015confidence survey established the baseline for the Industry Confidence Index to which the 2016 data will be compared. The initial Index was completed by 125 industry executives. The 2016 poll will include these individuals as well as the wider TBI membership.
The survey will help manufacturers and retailers obtain an understanding of the sentiment, or confidence, of the U.S. multisport marketplace as it relates to respondents’ perspectives of their business and/or customers. Questions will include (but are not limited to): current levels of customer demand; expectations for staffing levels for the next six months; competition for business; perspectives on retail prices; views on U.S. economic conditions; and outlook for the growth of triathlon in the U.S.
Take the Confidence Survey.
